Courtney Fournet joined the firm following a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Judge Jason Verdigets in the 23rd Judicial District Court of Louisiana. She earned her juris doctor degree and diploma in comparative law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. While in law school Courtney was recognized as a Dean’s scholar, received the CALI award for Legal Research and Writing II and was involved in the trial advocacy program acting as an active member on the Board of Advocates. During her third year of law school, she worked with LSU’s juvenile defense clinic and provided legal representation to local youth in juvenile court delinquency proceedings.
